Course Description:
This course provides instruction in the essentials of presentation graphics using Microsoft PowerPoint. Students will learn how to design and produce presentation material for business. Instruction will include planning your presentation, using templates and themes, working with text and graphics and using editing techniques. The class will focus on using the Microsoft PowerPoint 2016 software.

Meet Your Instructor: Debra Crowley
My name is Debra Crowley. You may call me Debbie. I graduated from Cal State Long Beach in 1977. I started working with computers in 1981 as a mainframe programmer. In the mid 80's I started programming in the PC environment. In 1990 I moved to PC technical support position, which led me to the world of corporate training. After a few years of this I started teaching in the Community College environment in 1993. I have written numerous Computer Based Training products in the area of Networking. |
I’ve been teaching part time at Santa Ana College since 1995. Some of the classes I've taught here are, GIS (Geographical Information Systems), Computer Science 100, Microsoft Office Applications, Photoshop, and Digital Photography. I also have been teaching at Coastline Community College since 1993. Some of the courses I’ve taught there are GIS, Computer Network Administration, Computer Information Systems 100 and MS Office Suite
As for my personal information, I was born on Wright-Patterson AFB. My father was in the Air Force, so I moved approximately every 4 years until he retired after 30 years of service as a full Colonel, in Southern California. After having moved around so much as a child, I planted my roots in Southern California and never wanted to leave. I've been married over 31 years and we have one beautiful daughter and a very cute dog.
