Course Description
Introduction to Digital Media Arts will introduce you to digital media and design tools; you will learn how to create graphics, illustrations, incorporate text, and even some basic motion graphics, using software programs for digital media & design. You will have the opportunity to practice using industry-standard applications as well as learn the fundamental elements behind visual design.
Throughout your projects and exercises, you will explore industry practices and standards, design elements, and multi-media applications. All exercises will explore the use of digital design tools, and projects will focus on communicating concepts to an audience.

- Recognize and apply image info and file type requirements for application across multiple media.
- Navigate industry-standard software by identifying design tools, menus, and app windows within the software workspace.
- Identify key figures in the fields of digital media arts and graphic design.
