Meet Your Instructor:
Instructor Name: Maribel Pineda, MSW
Bio: I am a proud SAC alumni and the first in my family to have graduated from college and obtain a Master's degree. I completed my AA in Business Administration at Santa Ana College and then transferred to UCSD where I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Economics. After working in the world of business for a year I found out that I was not happy and decided to return to SAC in 2007 and I haven't left since. In 2014 I graduated from CSUDH with a Master's in Social Work, which now allows to be a Counselor. I am fortunate to have a career that I love and believe in. Higher education changed my life! As your Professor and Counselor I hope to be a point of contact and support system not only for this course but for your duration at SAC.
