Your Instructor ‘s Teaching Philosophy
As your instructor and an educator, I see every student who enters the classroom environment and distance classroom environment as an individual, with the potential of learning knowledge. In spite of realization that all students learn at a different pace, represents all ages, and comes from all walks of life. Still, they must be afforded the opportunity to grow, develop mentally and intellectually. Even though, the students may be mentally or physically challenged. This is why you are called students and I am called the teacher, professor, mentor, and coach. Students that attend a junior college or an university have a purpose or dream in mind. In spite of the grading systems and students missing the passing mark, they should be encouraged. Failure is when a student does not try. I believe that students who attend classes have actually learned something. Grading is a mandated by the Department of Education. Yet, it is equally important that students maintain their worth and have an enjoyable learning experience. This course is designed to introduce students of dance forms. In order, to be successful in this course, you must fully participate in discussion questions, assignments, and all activities within the student’s course Canvas site. As an educator of dance, I believe that dance can communicate with anyone in the world.
