Meet Your Instructors: 

Kara McLeod is an adjunct faculty member at Santa Ana College, Concordia University and the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. She has been working in costume for theater and film for 30 years.

Katy Robinson is an adjunct faculty member at Santa Ana College. Her apparel industry experience includes: textile design, haute couture sales, bridal alterations, and fashion education in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Course Description:  Traces and analyzes the fashion industry, trends, and designers from socio-economic, political, technological, and global influences; emphasis on current fashion careers.
