Course Description:  This course provides effective success strategies to enhance student self-development, academic, and lifelong learning skills for the college student.  The techniques include values, goal-setting, dealing with money, stress-management, diversity, motivation, health and time-management.  Students learn personal growth methods and develop strategies to effectively deal with issues to ensure personal, educational, and career success.

This course uses digital course materials designed using Open Educational Resources (OER), high-quality, openly licensed educational materials, rather than a traditional textbook.

There is no cost for the textbook for this class, and therefore is also considered a Zero Textbook Cost (ZTC) class. A link is provided directly to the readings each week in the “Modules” section of the website.  For students who would like a hard copy of the text, copies are available for purchase in the Santa Ana College bookstore.
