Course Description:
To provide faculty and staff an overview of accessibility. Including why we need to make items accessible for our students and community, how to make documents, instructional tools and media accessible, as well as how to make pages in Canvas and SharePoint accessible.
Learning Objectives:
By the end of this training workshop, you will be able to:
- Articulate the importance of accessibility at SAC
- Utilize the accessibility tools inherent to Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Canvas to apply accessibility best practices and standards
- Create and edit captions for instructional and third-party videos
- Apply accessibility tools, best practices, and standards for SharePoint
