Note: Students will need to purchase the 3rd edition of the text book to participate in Connect/ Learnsmart assignments.

Student Learning Outcomes:

  1. Students will analyze the history, policies, structure, and functions of US law enforcement, courts, probation, and corrections agencies.
  2. Students will examine, compare, and contrast crime and justice issues.
  3. Students will analyze the rewards and challenges of a career in the criminal justice system (i.e., law enforcement, courts, probation, parole, and corrections).
