Meet Your Instructor:  Richard Corp (MS Statistics)

I strive to intertwine mathematics subject matter with everyday applications you may face in real life. Math was never easy for me, but I was always willing to put in the time needed to figure it out. I will create an interactive environment where the students will learn math from doing math. I strive to be the teacher who changes your approach to and perception of mathematics. I graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with a degree in pure math in 2004, and earned a Masters of Science in Statistics at CSU Fullerton. I grew up in Anaheim where I attended Esperanza High School. I am married and have a beautiful wife and two daughters.

Course Description:

The main goal of the Santa Ana College Honors Program is to provide a diverse curriculum with enriched courses requiring highly motivated faculty and students to provide innovation and creativity and for students to think even more independently and critically than in non-honors courses. Although both Math 219 and Math 219H teach students to think critically, write and speak persuasively, the expectation in Math 219H will be more active student participation, more independent study, and more in-depth coverage of topics.
