Course Description:

This course will explore the multiple roles of the occupational therapy assistant including therapeutic process, documentation, professional responsibilities, supervision, ethics and the development of community-based services.  It will further provide an overview of contemporary models for occupational therapy with a focus on specialty areas of practice. This is a hybrid course with an online section and class meetings on selected Saturdays.
