Meet Your Instructor:
Jesus Avalos has over a decade of management experience, with organizations ranging from Fortune 1000 companies to small start-ups. He has held positions from a front-line manager to Vice President and his primary areas of expertise are in employee development and leadership coaching. He has an MBA from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor's in Psychology from San Diego State University.
Course Description: This is an introductory course in general business management. The course presents a set of tools that will enable anyone to successfully become a manager, or provide insight to anyone to successfully work with managers in an organization.
Textbook Information: MGMT 11 by Chuck Williams
Course Learning Objectives: Upon completion of this course each student will demonstrate a detailed understanding of management functions within an organization or general business. All students will benefit by acquiring a general knowledge of business management that will enhance their career.
