Meet Your Instructor: 

Abeer Nabulsi, has been working as a French instructor in community colleges for almost 14 years. Teaching is my passion and French is the Language I grew up learning and speaking. I love to pass my knowledge of the French language and share with the students some of the music and culture of the French speaking world

Course Description:

French 101 will cover chapters (p-6) including  grammar, vocabulary, simple sentences in conversation and writing. The class will also cover culture topics on the francophone world, the music, the french cuisine and other cultural aspects.

After successful completion of this course, students should be able to:

Listening and speaking

1- Communicate effectively in French at the beginning level while using basic vocabulary and applying simple grammatical structures.

2- Utilize appropriate pronunciation.

3- Review key vocabulary related to specific work area.

Reading and Writing

4- Scan for key vocabulary related to specific work function.

5- Learn basic sentence structure in order to use appropriate vocabulary.
