Course Description:
This course explores a variety of trigonometric ideas including angles and their measurement, trigonometric functions and their applications, including vector problems. Use of trigonometric identities, graphing the basic functions and variations, solving trigonometric equations, graphing using polar coordinates, and use of complex numbers.
Textbook Information: Trigonometry, 4th Edition by Dugopolski
Student Learning Objectives: Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to: Solve trigonometric problems involving angles; right triangles; trigonometry functions, inverses and identities; the Law of Cosine and the Law of Sines; vector as well as graph using polar coordinates and complex numbers.
