Course Syllabus
Course Description:
Philosophy studies the nature of reality, values, knowledge, ethics and the social and political. This course addresses some of the most introductory, yet fundamental, questions of philosophy: What is knowledge? What is truth? What is the good life? Over the summer term we will explore the ways some of the most influential thinkers have attempted to answer these questions and others. The course has no prerequisites; students are not assumed to have any prior familiarity with philosophy.
