Course Description:  The course includes the preparation of accounting records for a business using the QuickBooks Pro 2015 software in the Windows environment.

Textbook Information:  QuickBooks 2015 Fundamentals: The Sleeter Group. ISBN#: 978-1-942417-07-1. Includes a 140-Day (Windows) Trial Version of QuickBooks Pro 2015. This book can be purchased in the Santa Ana College Bookstore for approximately

$80. There are e-book versions available – ask in the SAC Bookstore. It can be ordered online from the publisher: www.sleeter.com; select Products; Students; QuickBooks Fundamentals Textbook 2015. The cost is approximately $80, plus shipping and handling. Be sure to factor these costs, and the time element, if you are thinking of purchasing directly from Sleeter. You will need to have your textbook by the first week of class.

Student Learning Objectives:  Students will demonstrate proficiency in the use of QuickBooks accounting software by entering accounting transactions and preparing relevant accounting reports.
