Course Description:  

This course introduces the concepts within the four domains of Person, Health and Illness, Environment and Nursing. Emphasis is placed on the concepts within each domain including: diversity, safety, health promotion, communication, professional behavior, clinical reasoning/judgment, clinical competency, health care system, and ethics. Upon completion, students should be able to identify safe nursing care incorporating the concepts discussed in this course.
