Additional Course Information: 

DUE DATES: All assignments are to be submitted on time. Late assignments will NOT be accepted unless you have made prior arrangements with the instructor or provide a written excuse. Those with excuses will have points deducted for late submission. Due dates are provided for each assignment. It is the student’s responsibility to check his/her Canvas calendar daily to ensure all submissions are on time.  

ATTENDANCE POLICY: This is an online course; therefore, your attendance is participation based. It is the responsibility of the student to withdraw officially from the course. However, you will be dropped if you do not participate in course activity/assignments within the first week.

PLAGIARISM: Discussion of assignments with another student or other individuals is fine; however, the assignment that you turn in must be your OWN work. Collaborating on the assignment and using someone else’s work is plagiarism. If I find any occurrences of this sort, both individuals involved will receive a grade of 0 for that assignment. A second occurrence will result in “F” for the course. It is your responsibility to make sure your individual assignments are not accessible to anyone else. COURSE GENERAL INFORMATION:

1. Students are responsible for complying with the add/drop procedures and for processing add/drop forms with the Admissions Office before deadlines.
2. Accommodations: A student with a disability, who would like to request an academic accommodation, is responsible for identifying themselves to the instructor and to the Disabled Student Programs and Services (DSPS). To make arrangements for academic accommodations, contact the Physical Disability Center in Johnson Center, U-103 or phone 9714) 564-6264, TTY (714) 564-6284 for a referral to the appropriate DSPS Department.
3. Computer Labs: Academic Computing Center (A-106) and Business Computer Lab (A-104) can be used to complete assignments. Provide a SAC Student ID and take your own USB. Hours of Operation: Monday-Thursday 8am-8pm, Friday 10am-5pm.
4. Tutoring: If you should need any tutoring, sign-up for free tutoring with NetTutor. Information provided in Canvas modules.

Recognize when additional information is needed and obtain that material through researching outside sources.
