 Course Description:  KNAF 150A – Beg. STRETCH, FLEX & TONE is a combination of stretching and toning exercises to increase strength, flexibility, and overall body fitness.

 
Course Learning Objectives: 

1.    Apply competent stretch flex and tone techniques into your lifestyle.

2.    Express the relationship between stretch, flex & tone and the components health-related fitness.

3.    Healthy nutrition choices aiding improved body composition.

4.    Demonstrate principles of safety by performing all physical exercises during the class including warm up, cool down, stretching, and various other fitness techniques safely.

5.    Act, interact, and react to others with appropriate exercise class etiquette and safety behaviors.


Student Learning Objectives: 

Upon completion of the course, students will be able to:

  • Be competent at performing various calisthenics and stretching techniques.
  • Discriminate between the health benefits from calisthenics and other forms of exercise.
