How does the Universe work?

Join us as we investigate some of the methods that researchers have used throughout the historical development of astronomy. Additionally, our explorations will allow us to review some of the topics from Astronomy 109 and 110.

To enroll in this course, all students must either: (1) have passed Astronomy 109 or 110 with a grade of C or higher; or (2) also be enrolled in Astronomy 109 or 110 this semester.

As was noted by the astronomer Carl Sagan: "If you wish to make an apple pie from scratch, you must first invent the Universe."
