Course Learning Objectives: 

  • Develop the student’s knowledge of the various agencies that encompass the criminal justice system and the interrelationships between these agencies.
  • Develop the student’s ability to recognize the criminal justice agency best suited to his or her own talents and aspirations, if the student is so inclined to pursue such a professional career.
  • Develop an appreciation of the complexity of the criminal justice system and the importance and dignity of being a part of the system.
