Meet Your Instructor:
I am a graduate of Santa Ana College where I obtained my degree in Human Development-Preschool Child. I went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Development and then a Master of Arts in Education with an emphasis in Early Childhood Leadership from Chapman University. I am currently the Director of Preschool and Early Childhood Specialist at Holy Family Cathedral Preschool in Orange. I am very active within my community as I am a board member on the Orange County Association for the Education of Young Children and a Orange County Child Care and Planning Council member. I have been married for over 23 years and have a beautiful daughter who recently graduated from USC (Fight On). I enjoy spending my free time with my family traveling, boating, going to the movies, and shopping.
Course Description:
This course explores methods and principles of supervising adults in early childhood education settings. Emphasis will be on the role of administrators and experienced teachers acting as mentors to new teachers while simultaneously addressing the needs of children, parents and other staff.
