Course Description
This is an introductory course focused on basic principles of biology and science. You will
learn about cell biology, genetics, ecology, evolution, etc. This course is intended for student
not majoring in Biology.

Biology: Concepts and Connections. 8th edition. Benjamin Cummings.
The book is required. However, there is NO access code for the class, so please make sure to
buy only the textbook! You may buy a used book.
