Math 160 Syllabus
Course Overview:
Prerequisite: Mathematics 080 or 081or 084 with a minimum grade of C; or placement in Mathematics 160 with the Mathematics Level 3 Exam and courses equivalent to Mathematics 080 or 081 or 084. Angles and their measurement, trigonometric functions and their applications, including vector problems. Use of trigonometric identities. Graphing the basic functions and variations, solving trigonometric equations. Graphing using polar coordinates, and use of complex numbers.

Upon completion of this course:
- Students will be able to solve trigonometric problems involving angles; right triangles; trigonometry functions, inverses and identities; the Law of Cosines and the Law of Sines; vectors as well as graph using polar coordinates and complex numbers.
