Meet Your Instructor: Martha Sandoval has worked for Santa Ana College since 2008. She has also worked at Marymount College and El Camino College. She graduated from UCDavis with a BA in 2004 and from CSULB with an MS in 2008. In her spare time, she loves to be outdoors and spend time with her family. She has two amazing sons and an incredible daughter.
Course Description: Mathematics for Liberal Arts Students
Textbook Information: A Survey of Mathematics with Applications, by Angel, Abbott, Runde, Pearson, 10th Edition.
Required Material: MyMathLab access code+Text or e-book, and Scientific Calculator (NO graphing calculators allowed). You may Not use a cell phone or any other device that contains a calculator. Calculators may Not be shared.
Student Learning Objectives: Upon successful completion of Math 105, students will be able to solve problems in financial management, probability and statistics as well as selected other topics such as set theory, geometry, logic, mathematical modeling and the history of mathematics.
