Course Description:  An overview of mathematics for the liberal arts student. Topics will include problem solving, financial management, probability, statistics, and selected other topics such as set theory, geometry, logic, mathematical modeling, and the history of mathematics.

Additional Course Information: PREREQUISITE: Math 080/081/83/84 (C or better) or equivalent skills as measured by a satisfactory score on the Math Level 3 exam

Student Learning Objectives:  Students will be able to solve problems in financial management, probability and statistics as well as selected other topics such as set theory, geometry, logic, mathematical modeling and the history of mathematics.
